This Manali getaway curated by The Hosteller is perfect for travellers wanting to experience Manali’s age-old traditions, culture, food, adventure activities or nearby regions in Kullu valley. Manali also called the “Valley of Gods”, has a lot to offer to every kind of traveller.

Located about 20 km away from Manali is the ancient town of Naggar. It is one of the oldest towns in India and was the seat of the Kullu raj for more than 1400 years. Famous Russian artist and youth leader Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh chose to settle in Naggar in the late 20th century. His beautiful 2 story house has now been converted into a museum and now is an attractive hot spot of the town.

EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS TREK

Day 1: Manali – Naggar

Upon reaching Manali after a tiring journey, check-in at The Hosteller Manali at 11 AM. Located 1.5 kilometres from the mall road, The Hosteller Manali offers a serene mountain view, comfortable rooms, and various local experiences. After settling down for a few hours, our trip coordinator will meet you and take you to Naggar. Here you will visit the famous Naggar Castle and Roerich Museum. The Castle in Naggar is a medieval mansion of wood and stone that overlooks the beautiful valley of Kullu. The Roerich estate is the home of famous Russian painter and artists Nikolai Roerich. The museum features many of his paintings. After that, you shall return to The Hosteller Manali. A delicious vegetarian dinner (around the bonfire) sums up the day for a peaceful night under a million stars.

Day 2: Manali – Solang Valley – Jogni Falls

Post breakfast around 10 AM, we will begin our day trip to Solang Valley. We will be travelling via Vashist traversing through dense pine forests, enjoying serene views and sharing local facts. Located around 20km from Manali, Solang is famously known for adventure activities like skiing and paragliding and is an ideal place for a short excursion. You will also be visiting the famous Jogni waterfall which is considered sacred by the locals and falls from an astonishing height of 150 meters. Do not forget to take a lot of selfies on this day visit to Solang. A delicious vegetarian dinner is served in The Hogger Cafe around 9 PM.

Day 3: Manali

This is the last day of the trip. Check out from The Hosteller Manali after breakfast and teary goodbyes.
